The traditional Nantucket lightship basket! This 8” basket is created using cherry hardwood for the base and rim. Brass nails are implemented to secure the rim to the basket then lashed with premium cane and rim filler. These are the original baskets design and made at sea by the whalers. Many of these original basket still exist to lending to the durability of this basket.
